Netflix is moving into the K-Pop world with it’s latest documentary about Blackpink.

Blackpink: Light Up the Sky joins Netflix’s other music documentaries and concert films including Beyonce’s Homecoming, Taylor Swift’s Miss Americana, and Lady Gaga’s Five Foot Two.

The documentary will follow the lives of K-Pop stars Jennie, Jisoo, Lisa, and Rosé and tell the story of their Coachella history-making performance and their recording process. There will also be exclusive footage and interviews from Blackpink.

“The K-pop phenomenon has been sweeping the globe and Blackpink has arguably become the most recognizable and most popular girl group in the world … We’re thrilled to bring their story to their fans worldwide,” said Netflix’s Adam Del Deo, VP Documentary Features.

Blackpink has been making hit after hit with their recent Selena Gomez collaboration for “Ice Cream”, Lady Gaga’s “Sour Candy”, and their single “How You Like That”.

The documentary will be released on Netflix on October 14.
