Alec Baldwin is likely to be vigorously applying after-burn cream today following his Comedy Central Roast.

The Will & Grace actor was selected as this year’s subject, following in the singed footsteps of David Hasselhoff, Charlie Sheen, Bruce Willis, James Franco, and Justin Bieber.

Some of the barbs launched at the 61-year-old focused on a voicemail he had left his daughter, Ireland, many years ago in which he called her a “rude, thoughtless little pig”.

The now-23-year-old gave her dad grief over the incident and quipped, “It’s not easy to be the daughter of an iconic movie star. But I’m not here to talk about my mom and her Oscar.”

Other roasters included Robert De Niro and Caitlin Jenner.

The latter mocked Baldwin’s strained relationship with his brothers by referencing her own gender transition, stating, “Back when I was Bruce, we were brothers. That’s another brother you’ll never talk to again.”

De Niro also referenced the infamous voicemail when he said, “Alec and Woody Allen have a lot in common, except Alec only screamed at his daughter, and Woody, well…”

As is tradition, the roasters are also foddered for each other, as evidenced when the Joker actor told Jenner, “There’s something different about you, but I can’t put my finger in it.”

The roast is scheduled to air on September 15th on Comedy Central.
