The Queen will see you now.

Netflix has now released the first image of its new star of The Crown.

For the past two years, The Girl in the Spider’s Web actress, Claire Foy, portrayed the role of Queen Elizabeth II in the series which documents the monarch’s life from her marriage to Prince Phillip through to the birth of her third son.

With the show now moving into the latter year’s of the Queen’s life, Claire will be passing the baton on to Broadchurch star, Olivia Colman.

The first image of Olivia as Her Majesty has now emerged, showing the 44-year-old dressed in pink with a cup of tea in her hand.

The Crown was recently embroiled in a gender wage discrepancy debacle when it was discovered that Doctor Who star, Matt Smith, who played Prince Phillip, had been earning more than Miss Foy.

Following the reveal, producers promised that going forth, “no one would be paid more than the Queen,” meaning that Olivia will reap the rewards.

She will be joined by Toby Menzies of Outlander as the new Phillip, and Alice Through the Looking Glass actress, Helena Bonham Carter as Princess Margaret.

Season 3 of The Crown is expected to greet the public in 2019.
