Almost Family will not return for a second season.

Multiple outlets confirm that the Fox series created by Jason Katims and Annie Weisman and based on the Australia series Sisters has been canceled after only one season.

The series starred Timothy Hutton as a fertility doctor who used his own sperm to conceive more than 100 children over the course of his career. Brittany Snow starred as one of the offsprings who is united with her half siblings, portrayed by Megalyn Echikunwoke and Emily Osment. Mustafa Elzein, Mo McRae, and Victoria Cartagena also starred.

Per Variety, during its 13-episode run, Almost Family, which premiered October 2, averaged a 0.44 rating among adults 18-49 and 1.5 million Live+Same Day viewers, which places it at the very bottom of the network’s scripted ratings charts.
