Season 2 of Interview with the Vampire will wrap up in a few days, and we already know what its future has in store. Fans of AMC’s hit adaptation of Anne Rice’s gothic horror novel will get to sink their teeth into another chapter of this story after it’s been renewed for Season 3.

Interview with the Vampire sees the veteran journalist Daniel Molloy retell the life story of the vampire Louis de Pointe du Lac. His incredible journey kicked off after Lestat de Lioncourt turned him into a vampire, but he’s still struggling with his mortality, even a century later.

Interview with the Vampire Rolin Jones creator, writer, and showrunner confirmed the show’s renewal and thanked everyone who made it a success.

“Thank you to the brilliant casts and crews of the first two seasons that got us to this day. Thank you to the rabid, beautifully unwell fandom that scaled the castle walls to get us to this day,” said Jones in a statement, and extended his gratitude to AMC’s Dan McDermott and Ben Davis for continuing the great work of dramatizing Anne Rice’s novels.

Jacob Anderson and Sam Reid will return to lead Season 3 of this series, which will see Lestat trying to set the record straight about who he really is, resentful of his perfunctory portrayal in the trashy best-seller Interview with the Vampire.
