We only said goodbye with words, but it seems as though Amy Winehouse is not completely gone…

The “Tears Dry on their Own” singer passed away in 2011 at the age of 27 as a result of alcohol poisoning.

The late musician’s estate has now announced that fans will get to bid their farewells — at least to a holographic version.

“This is a dream for us,” said Amy’s father, Mitch. “To see her perform again is something special that really can’t be put into words. Our daughter’s music touched the lives of millions of people and it means everything that her legacy will continue in this innovative and groundbreaking way.”

The project will be in collaboration with BASE Hologram, which has previously “brought to life” Roy Orbison and Maria Callas.

The hologram tour will feature digitally remastered arrangements of the Grammy Award winner’s classics and a holographic image of her that will be backed by a live band, singers, and theatrical stagecraft.

The tour will also raise money for the Amy Winehouse Foundation which works to combat and prevent drug and alcohol abuse among young people.

No date has been set as yet for the production, though late 2019 seems a likely time to go Back to Black.
