There will be no toasts with Anne Hathaway anytime soon.

The Ocean’s Eight actress has never been afraid to get a little liquoured up, as she revealed to Ellen DeGeneres on her talk show.

The Oscar winner divulged that while shooting her latest film, Serenity, in Mauritius, she and co-star Matthew McConaughey did some bar-hopping with his wife Camila Alvez to sample the island’s finest rum.

But those days are now over…

“I quit drinking back in October… for 18 years,” Anne told the comedienne.

Why so long?

Well, it has to do with the 36-year-old’s status as a mother to 3-year-old Jonathan.

“I’m going to stop drinking while my son is in my house, just because I don’t totally love the way I do it, and he’s getting to an age where he really does need me all the time in the morning,” she said. “I did one school run one day where I dropped him off at school. I wasn’t driving, but I was hungover and that was enough for me. I didn’t love that one.”

We’ll drink to her success!
