More stars are lining up as suspects for Hercule Poirot.
Following the massive success of Murder on the Orient Express, which earned $352 million worldwide, Kenneth Branagh will be returning in Death on the Nile as Hercule Poirot, as well as to direct.
The sequel, based on the Agatha Christie novel, sees the Belgian detective trying to solve a murder while on holiday in Cairo.
Wonder Woman actress Gal Gadot has already signed on to the project as Linnet Doyle, a rich socialite married to Simon Doyle.
It is possible that Mr. Doyle could be played by the latest star to join the film — Armie Hammer of Call Me by Your Name.
Death on the Nile is expected to be released in December 2019.
