Taylor Swift has been ruling the Billboard 200 chart for six consecutive weeks, but her reign is finally over as Big Sean managed to de-crown her and snag the no. 1 spot on the chart for the third time, with his latest album Detroit 2.

The successor to his 2012 mixtape Detroit came out on September 4th and sold 103,000 album-equivalent units during its first week on the chart. Its success was aided by collaborations with several famous rappers, including Eminem, Travis Scott, and the late Nipsey Hussle.

The Grammy-nominated artist celebrated the success of his latest album with an emotional Instagram post. He thanked his fans for supporting him and admitted he faced many dark moments that he poured into his music on Detroit 2.

“I sacrificed my privacy, I put so many emotions and lessons I learned the hard way into this music and gave an honest glimpse into my heart! Had to remember if I’m still here and so many aren’t, it’s for reason,” wrote Big Sean on Instagram.
