MTV Movie & TV Awards may not be the most prestigious awards ceremony out there, but they certainly are the most entertaining one. They proved this once again with an amazing show hosted by Tiffany Haddish. Black Panther and Stranger Things came out victorious at the end of the night, taking home four shiny statues each.
Haddish opened the show with a super funny parody of Cardi B’s Bodak Yellow, setting the mood for the whole ceremony. In the night filled with comedic moments and emotional speeches, winners used their five minutes of glory to send a strong message. As the show came to a closure, Black Panther cast took the stage to accept Best Movie award. Chadwick Boseman, Michael B. Jordan, and Winston Duke delivered a passionate speech, reminding the world of the game-changing power of storytelling.
