Who could ever forget Britney Spears.
Admittedly, it’s been a while since the Pretty Girls singer released new music, and she has been out of the spotlight for the last few months.
But, the 37-year-old has sent a reminder to her fans that she is still, in fact, around — but just taking some time out.
Posting photographs from shows, Britney wrote on Instagram, “I hope y’all haven’t forgotten about me!!! I’m taking this transition in my life to focus on what I really want … I’ve been working nonstop, well, since I was 8 years old in the business. Sometimes it’s good to stop and reflect !!!! Miss you all … I really do have the best fans in the world !!! #fbf”
Britney was scheduled to perform her second residency show in Las Vegas, Britney: Domination, in February of this year, but canceled due to her father’s ill health. She simultaneously stated that she would be going on an indefinite work hiatus to spend time with her family and also underwent treatment for her own health at a mental wellness facility.
We hope she is back in the spotlight soon!
