Charli XCX’s Brat remixes are a gift that keeps on giving, and she exceeded our wildest expectations with her latest. She linked up with none other than Billie Eilish for the new version of “Guess”, which marks her first feature in six years.

“Guess” was originally released as one of three songs from the deluxe version of Charli XCX’s Brat. This album already produced several remixes, featuring the likes of Lorde, Addison Rae, and Robyn, and the singer teased the possibility of releasing several more.

Charli XCX shared the cover of the “Guess” remix a day before it hit the shelves, which saw a low profile of two figures, including one wearing baggy jeans and an oversized top. It didn’t take long for fans to figure out that the artist in question was Eilish, who teased their collaboration in a recent interview.

Eilish told Zane Lowe she was really nervous about this feature because she hasn’t worked with anyone but her brother Finneas O’Connell in six years. He was the one to contact Charli XCX, and they quickly decided to work it out on the remix.

“Billie was sitting and telling me why she loved this one artist, and we were watching their music videos together and I know them, and I was texting them like, ‘We’re sitting here watching your stuff, it’s so good.’ They were like, ‘I’m in L.A.’ I was like, ‘You want to do a day?’” O’Connell told Zane Lowe.
