Check Out the New Coven of Witches in “The Craft” Sequel

Cailee Spaeny, Lovie Simone, Gideon Adlon, and Zoey Luna in "The Craft: Legacy"

There’s a new coven of witches in town and they’ll be coming to your screens just in time for Halloween.

The trailer for the sequel to the 1996 The Craft gave us a first look at the new coven of witches in The Craft: Legacy, which is directed and written by actress Zoe Lister-Jones. The spirit of the original is in the opening with the “light as a feather stiff as a board” game and the sequel appears to take place where the original left off.

The film follows Cailee Spaeny’s Hannah, who moves and changes schools when her mother (Michelle Monaghan) remarries. Along the way, she gets three new brothers with her new dad (David Duchovny). When Hannah starts at her new school, her presence awakens the local teenage coven (Lovie Simone, Gideon Adlon, and Zoey Luna), who soon realize they’ve found their fourth member. Before long Hannah discovers an image of the 1996 The Craft’s witch Nancy Downs. We’ll have to wait and see if Nancy will return and if the binding spell by Sarah (Robin Tunney) has worn off.

The Craft: Legacy was originally set to be released in theaters, but it’s now set to debut on all PVOD platforms and it will be available for purchase on October 28.
