Hollywood was arguably a darker time in the ‘60s.

The era known as the Golden Age began to fade towards the end of the decade and a murder occurred within the industry’s very own midsts.

That is the premise for Quentin Tarantino’s latest film, Once Upon a Time in Hollywood.

The feature focuses on the murder of pregnant actress Sharon Tate (who was the wife of director Roman Polanski) by the crazed Charles Manson.

With the movie due for release in July, we’ve now gotten our first official poster, thanks to one of the film’s own stars — Leonardo DiCaprio.

Simply captioned, “Hollywood. 1969.” the picture shows Leonardo and his co-star Brad Pitt looking retro chic with a yellow Cadillac in the background.

The movie — which is Tarantino’s 9th — also stars Margot Robbie, Dakota Fanning, Timothy Olyphant, Kurt Russell, Emile Hirsch, Tim Roth, James Marsden, Damian Lewis,, Rumer Willis, Bruce Dern, Lena Dunham, the late Luke Perry, and Damon Herriman.

We’ll find out just what happened Once Upon a Time in Hollywood on the 26th of July.
