Hopes have remained high since the series left our screens in 2004 that we would once again see Monica, Chandler, Ross, Rachel, Phoebe, and Joey back together.
And, with so many shows being rebooted, our hopes dared fly a little higher.
Sadly though, it looks like a reunion at Central Perk is definitely not on the cards…
“People ask us all the time, ‘Will we ever do a remake?’” Cox told PEOPLE. “That was a story about these group of people that are friends in their 30s who are finding themselves. I don’t know if there’s a way to redo it. I just don’t see it happening. Even though I would do anything to be in a room with all of those people acting and having a great time. But I don’t see it happening.”
No one told us life was gonna be this way…
