Marshmello gave us several great collaborations this year, and Demi Lovato is the latest superstar he joined forces with. The music video for their song “Ok Not to Be Ok“ is here, and it shows the duo partying with their younger selves.

The uplifting video for this single was directed by Hannah Lux Davis, and it opens with Lovato and Marshmello waking up in their childhood bedrooms. As the music video unravels, they’re shown making a huge mess in their bedrooms, before reuniting in the street and dancing to the beat of this catchy song.

The duo developed this music video in partnership with the “Hope for the Day” suicide prevention movement. Lovato thanked them for their support and resources and expressed her hope this song will uplift people struggling with mental health and help them to keep going.

“I’m living proof that you never have to give into those [negative] thoughts. I’ve had many days where I’ve struggled but please let this song be an anthem to anyone who needs it right now. You can get through whatever it is you’re going through,” wrote Lovato on Instagram.
