Congratulations are in order for Desperate Housewives actress Eva Longoria and her husband Jose Bastón. The beautiful couple welcomed their first child together on Tuesday and named him Santiago Enrique Bastón.
Longoria’s fans went crazy when she announced her pregnancy back in December 2017. Precious baby boy Santiago is her first child, but she already had a chance to test her parenting skills since Bastón has four kids from his previous marriage. The couple said they are “so grateful for this beautiful blessing” after sharing the first picture of their new-born with HOLA! USA.
Eva Longoria celebrated her boy’s arrival with an adorable pajama party-themed baby shower in May. Elizabeth Banks, Melanie Griffith, Sophia Bush and her former Desperate Housewives co-star Marcia Cross were in attendance. One of the guests said the actress was glowing during the party. She kept laughing, touching her baby bump and it was obvious she can’t wait to give birth.
Longoria’s pregnancy was well-documented since she regularly showed off her adorable baby bump on social media. Eva was excited after discovering she’s giving birth to a baby boy because she thinks “the world needs more good men”. Let’s hope little Santiago becomes one – after all, strong and powerful women will guide him every step of the way!
