There’s a lot of buzz surrounding each Disney live-action remake, and Snow White caused quite a stir. After years in the making, the release date of this film is finally on the horizon, and Disney gave us a taste of things to come with a first teaser at the D23 Expo.
Disney gave us a glimpse of many highly-anticipated projects at the D23 presentation this past weekend, but the Snow White trailer certainly created the biggest commotion. It introduced us to Rachel Zegler as Snow White, who can be seen going into the woods and finding her chosen family after being exiled by her wicked stepmother, played by Gal Gadot.
Bot actresses were present at the D23 Expo to introduce the trailer, and Zegler described her role as an honor of a lifetime. She said it was the most amazing experience to finally put on her own Disney princess dress and realize her childhood dream.
The cast of Snow White will also include Andrew Burnap as Jonathan, Ansu Kabia as the Huntsman, Dujonna Gift as Maple, Martin Klebba as Grumpy, and Colin Michael Carmichael in an undisclosed role, while the rest of the actors voicing the Seven Dwarfa are yet to be announced.
Snow White will be released by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures on March 21, 2025.
