Drake and DJ Khaled gave us one the catchiest hip-hop tunes of the summer with “Popstar”, and they just dropped a music video that perfectly matches its tone. To make the whole thing even better, this visual features a cameo from one of the biggest pop stars in the world—Justin Bieber.
The video opens with DJ Khaled sending countless video messages to Drake telling him they have to come up with a way to shoot a video for “Popstar”. The “Hotline Bling” rapper can’t leave Canada to be a part of the video so he decides to call in a favor—and calls none other than Justin Bieber!
The rest of the video shows Bieber partying around his mansion while lip-syncing to the beat of “Popstar”. The epic visual, helmed by Director X, is filled with many twists and turns, and we’ll let you find out for yourself what happens at the end.
Drake and DJ Khaled released “Popstar” on July 17th, simultaneously with their other collaboration “Greece”. Both songs serve as the lead singles from Khaled’s upcoming 12th studio album Khaled Khaled.
