Dua Lipa topped the charts, gave us numerous catchy smash hits, and won several major awards with her second studio album Future Nostalgia—and she’s showing no signs of stopping. The list of Brit Awards winners is in, and she led the way with a total of two awards.
Future Nostalgia was named as the best British album at the recent Brit Awards ceremony, while Lipa herself won the trophy for the best British female solo artist. She was also nominated for the best British single with “Physical”, but this award eventually went to Harry Styles’ “Watermelon Sugar”.
In addition to picking up two awards, Lipa also impressed Brit Awards viewers with an amazing medley of Future Nostalgia hits, including “Physical”, “Hallucinate”, and “Don’t Start Now”.
The list of winners at the ceremony also included J Hus (best British male solo artist), Little Mix (best British group), and Arlo Parks (best breakthrough artist). Taylor Swift showed up to collect the honorary global icon award, while The Weeknd, Billie Eilish, and Haim picked up accolades in the international categories
The 2021 Brit Awards took place on May 11th, with Jack Whitehall serving as a host.
