Ed Sheehan is taking a break from music to “travel, write and read.”

The singer-songwriter has announced he’s taking a breather from work and time away from social media “until it’s time to come back.”

“The Divide era and tour changed my life in so many ways, but now it’s all over it’s time to go out and see more of the world,” he shared in Instagram post. “I promise to be back with some new music when the time is right, and I’ve lived a little more to actually have something to write about.”

Divide, which was released in 2017, was followed with No. 6 Collaborations Project, which dropped in July and features a slew of the industry’s A-listers, including Travis Scott, Justin Bieber, Cardi B, Eminem, 50 Cent, Chance the Rapper, Camila Cabello, Bruno Mars and others. He also toured throughout 2018, selling 4,860,482 tickets across 53 cities and 94 shows, according to Rolling Stone
