Not all marriages last in Hollywood… but this one has.
And aren’t we glad!
On the 16th of August 2008 — that’s a whole decade ago! — Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi said “I do.”
The pair first met in 2000 and again at the end of 2004 when the Ally McBeal actress was still in a relationship with writer and filmmaker, Francesca Gregorini, and the comedienne was with photographer, Alexandra Hedison.
The third time proved the charm as the reunited on a photo shoot in 2005 and never said their goodbyes.
Motivational speaker, Wayne Dyers, officiated their wedding ceremony 3 years later at their Beverley Hills home.
Now, on the 10th anniversary of the occasion, Ellen has shared the words which Dyer shared with the happy couple, as well as video footage from the special day:
