Star Wars shows on Disney+ are a gift that keeps on giving, and their latest will reunite us with one of our favorite Jedi Masters. Ewan McGregor reprised one of his most iconic roles in the first trailer for Obi-Wan Kenobi, and he was in pretty good company.

In addition to McGregor, this series will mark the return of several Star Wars veterans, including Hayden Christensen as Anakin Skywalker, Joel Edgerton as Owen Lars, and Bonnie Piesse as Beru Lars. The series will also feature several newcomers, starting with Rupert Friend, Moses Ingram, Kumail Nanjiani, Indira Varma, O’Shea Jackson Jr., and Benny Safdie.

The first trailer doesn’t reveal too much of the plot, but Disney+ unveiled the official logline revealing what we can expect from this series: “The story begins 10 years after the dramatic events of Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith where Obi-Wan Kenobi faced his greatest defeat—the downfall and corruption of his best friend and Jedi apprentice, Anakin Skywalker, who turned to the dark side as evil Sith Lord Darth Vader.”

Obi-Wan Kenobi will start streaming on Disney+ on May 25th, and it consists of six episodes. It’s the third live-action Star Wars series on this streaming service, following the release of The Mandalorian and The Book of Boba Fett.
