If body-swap movies happen to be your favorite genre, there’s another one you should add to your watch list. The first trailer for The Marvels is here, and it sees Captain Marvel, Monica Rambeau, and Ms. Marvel mysteriously switching places with one another.
The body-swap theory was teased at the end of the Disney+ series Ms. Marvel, and The Marvels trailer confirmed it’s officially happening. This film will see Captain Marvel/Carol Danvers (Brie Larson), Monica Rambeau (Teyonah Parris), and Kamala Khan/Ms. Marvel (Iman Vellani) switch places every time they use their power.
Samuel L. Jackson’s Nick Fury will also be back, and he’ll try to help the trio figure out how their powers became entangled with one another. The supporting cast will also include Zawe Ashton, Park Seo-joon, and Ms. Marvel cast members Saagar Shaikh, Zenobia Shroff, and Mohan Kapur.
The Marvels serves as the sequel to Captain Marvel, but it will also interconnect with several acclaimed Disney+ shows, including WandaVision, which introduced us to Monica Rambeau, and Ms. Marvel, led by Iman Vellani.
The Marvels will be released on November 10, as the third film in the MCU’s Phase Five following Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania and Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3.
