Looks like we’re going to get a chance to build that snowman earlier than expected!

Fans of Frozen have been waiting 5 long years for the sequel to the Disney, hit which is inspired by the Hans Christian Andersen fairy tale “The Snow Queen.”

And now with almost a year to go, Disney has stepped through the door left open by some scheduling changes and will be releasing the film a week earlier than expected.

Frozen 2 was originally set to open on November 27th, 2019, but will now hit theaters on November 22nd, 2019.

Idina Menzel and Kristen Bell will once again be lending their voices to sisters Elsa and Anna, alongside Josh Gad’s Olaf, while This Is Us star Sterling K. Brown and Evan Rachel Wood of Westworld are believed to have also joined the cast.

The original Frozen earned $1.3 billion and 2 Academy Awards, including Best Original Song for “Let It Go,” so there is no doubt that the sequel will be worth melting for!
