Fans of Ginny & Georgia were clutching their pearls after the show’s last season ended with a major cliffhanger, but they can finally relax. All our questions will be answered soon since Netflix renewed this hit series for its third and fourth seasons.
Ginny & Georgia follows the trials and tribulations of a free-spirited young mom Georgia Miller (Brianne Howey) and her kids Ginny and Austin (Antonia Gentry and Diesel La Torraca). The trio moves to an affluent town in Massachusetts looking for a fresh start, only to learn that the road to a new beginning is bumpier than they’ve expected.
In addition to the leading trio, the cast of this series also includes Jennifer Robertson, Felix Mallard, Sara Waisglass, Scott Porter, Raymond Ablack, Katie Douglas, and Chelsea Clark.
The cast is expected to come back for Seasons 3 and 4, but Ginny & Georgia will experience a major shift behind the scenes once it returns. Debra J. Fisher is stepping down as showrunner due to rumored friction with the series creator Sarah Lampert, and Sarah Glinski is stepping in to take her spot.
Ginny & Georgia originally premiered on Netflix in 2021 and went on to become one of the streamer’s biggest hits, with the second season reaching the all-time top ten English language shows on Netflix.
