The first list of musical acts for Glastonbury’s 50th anniversary has been unveiled, and it includes more than 90 additional stellar acts.
The festival will be headlined by Kendrick Lamar, Taylor Swift and Sir Paul McCartney. Also performing are Camila Cabello, Charli XCX, Dua Lipa, Diana Ross, Angel Olsen, FKA Twigs, Glass Animals, Haim, Kacey Musgraves, Lana Del Rey, Thundercat and many many more.
Festival chief Emily Eavis shared the news on social media, writing, “As things stand we are still working hard to deliver our 50th anniversary Festival in June, and we are very proud of the bill we have put together over the last year or so. No one has a crystal ball to see exactly where we will all be 15 weeks from now, but we are keeping our fingers firmly crossed that it will be here at Worthy Farm for the greatest show on Earth!”
The rest of the lineup will be unveiled over the coming weeks, leading up to the full line-up in May.
Despite Coronavirus concerns and cancelations of concerts and festivals worldwide, including Coachella and Stagecoach, Glastonbury is still on as planned and will take place at Worthy Farm in Pilton, Somerset from June 24th to 28th.
