HBO Max’s reboot of Gossip Girl has found its leading lady.

Multiple outlets report that Emily Alyn Lind has joined the cast of the sequel series.

The new iteration, like the original, is based on the book by Cecily von Ziegesar. It hails from Joshua Safran, Josh Schwartz and Stephanie Savage’s Fake Empire, Alloy Entertainment, Warner Bros TV and CBS Television Studios.

Lind will play a character named Audrey, who has been in a long term relationship and is beginning to wonder what more could be out there.

The original series ended in 2012 after six seasons on The CW and starred Blake Lively, Leighton Meester, Penn Badgley, Chace Crawford and Ed Westwick.
