TV reunions are all the rage right now, and we had to pick a single one that everyone seems to be waiting for, Friends: The Reunion would take the cake. After over a year of teasing this project, HBO Max finally announced it’s hitting the shelves this month.

According to the recent teaser shared by this streaming service, Friends: The Reunion will officially premiere on May 27th. This date also marks the first anniversary of HBO Max’s launch, and the reunion special was actually supposed to air on this day last year before being postponed due to the COVID pandemic.

The short teaser doesn’t reveal much about the plot and simply shows the six main characters walking by each other’s side, while the iconic Friends theme plays in the background. Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc, Matthew Perry, and David Schwimmer are all returning to their respective roles from the original series.

Friends has always been known for its impressive slate of guest stars, and the reunion special will be no different. The list of stars expected to make a cameo includes Reese Witherspoon, Tom Selleck, David Beckham, Justin Bieber, BTS, Lady Gaga, Mindy Kaling, and more.
