Frontrunner for horror blockbuster of the year, Emily Blunt and John Krasinski’s A Quiet Place crept into theaters on April 6th making a serious name for itself. In fact, it’s even on its way to reaching $100 million just after opening week alone. Of course, the film’s acclaim already has fans itching for a sequel. Turns out, they may just get their wish.

Tip-Toeing To A Part 2

Writer Bryan Woods has alluded to the possibility of a follow-up film, saying the setting of A Quiet Place is “such a fun world” with “so many things you could do.” Not only that, but both Woods and co-writer Scott Beck claim there are still some unused relics from the initial film that could open doors for a potential continuation.

“We even have some of the set pieces already written for it. In a sense, that’s what you have to base it around. You have to figure out, what is the worst possible situation to put your characters in and go from there.”

A Quieter Place?

Surely there’s no dearth of iconically lengthy film franchises in the horror genre starting with Puppet Master and ending with Saw, but at the same time, not every horror flick is sequel-worthy. Regardless, even though Blunt and Krasinski have yet to confirm any official sequel themselves, Woods and Beck have already left fans a trail of breadcrumbs.
