Jamie Oliver doesn’t just know how to whip up a 3-course meal — he apparently knows how to whip criminals as well.
When an intruder tried to enter his home, the TV chef was having none of it.
The 43-year-old is a father to 5 children, all of whom were at home in their Highgate mansion in North London with his wife Jools when the incident took place last Tuesday night.
Jamie reportedly ran down the street after the assailant and pinned him to the ground.
He was then joined by his driver and a handful of neighbors who helped him hold down the burglar until police arrived to arrest him.
A spokesperson for the Metropolitan Police confirmed the incident, saying that the suspect was taken to a North London police station where he remained, while officers from Central North Command Unit investigated.
We think Jamie deserved his favorite dish after all that.
