The original cast of the beloved sitcom Party Down is coming back for a revival series, and they’ll be in pretty good company. Jennifer Garner, James Marsden, Tyrel Jackson Williams, and Zoë Chao will join them in the next chapter of the Party Down journey.
Party Down follows the trials and tribulations of the Los Angeles catering team, which consists of aspiring actors working for tips while they dream about their big break. Adam Scott, Jane Lynch, Ken Marino, Martin Starr, Ryan Hansen, and Megan Mullally starred in the original series, and they’re all coming back for the revival.
As for the new cast, Garner will play the role of a successful producer of a studio going through a tough breakup. Marsden will join her as Jack Botty, a successful actor who plays the lead in a popular superhero franchise.
Williams will take on the role of a wannabe influencer, while Chao will join him as a creative “food artist” who dreams about becoming a celebrity chef but is stuck working at Party Down.
Garner, Williams, and Chao will be credited as series regulars, while Marsden has been cast in a recurring role. The revival will feature a total of six episodes, and its release date is yet to be announced.
