The highly-anticipated Disney+ series Obi-Wan Kenobi is set to start filming later this month, and its cast looks pretty epic. Ewan McGregor and Hayden Christensen will be joined by Joel Edgerton, Kumail Nanjiani, Moses Ingram, and several more amazing cast members.

This Star Wars spin-off series will be set 10 years after the events of Revenge of the Sith, and it will feature a couple of familiar faces. Christensen is returning to the role of Darth Vader, while Joel Edgerton and Bonnie Piesse will once again portray Uncle Owen and Aunt Beru.

Obi-Wan Kenobi will also feature a series of brand-new characters, played by some of Hollywood’s most critically acclaimed rising stars. Indira Varma, Moses Ingram, Kumail Nanjiani, Rupert Friend, O’Shea Jackson Jr., Sung Kang, Simone Kessell, and Benny Safdie are among those joining the cast.

Disney+ is yet to share the official release date of this series, but filming is underway and it’s set to start this month. Deborah Chow, who previously worked on the first season of The Mandalorian, is set to direct Obi-Wan Kenobi.
