Fans of Justin Timberlake may be crying a river after the singer was forced to cancel his show in New York.

The 37 year old is currently on his Man of the Woods tour of North America and Europe and was set to perform in New York City this past week.

After performing to thousands of fans at Madison Square Garden on Monday night, the “I Can’t Stop the Feeling” singer was ordered to cancel his Wednesday show at the same venue.

In an apologetic Instagram post, Justin revealed that doctors had told him to rest his vocal chords.

Citing “severely bruised vocal chords,” the singer confirmed that he has rearranged for the show at the MSG to be played on January 31st 2019 — his 38th birthday!

We guess what goes around really does come around.
