The 1990s MTV dating series is getting a reboot with hosts Keke Palmer and Joel Kim Booster.

The series was about a group of 50 single people competing to win the heart of one single person. The new version will run on Quibi and it will be 20 episodes. There will be elements of the present dating situation and the use of social media. The dater will have a link to the potential daters via social media.

Keke Palmer who recently starred in Hustlers said, “I am thrilled to be hosting Singled Out. To be able to reimagine this show for my generation and on a new platform is so exciting. Can’t wait for you guys to see what we have in store!” Joel Kim Booster from Search Party is also developing a romantic comedy with Quibi called Trip, which is based on Jane Austin’s Pride and Prejudice.

Singled Out was on MTV from 1995-1998 and Chris Hardwick, Jenny McCarthy, and Carmen Electra all hosted the show. Producing the reboot is MTV Studios and they’re also producing a new version of Punk’d for Quibi.

Quibi has yet to reveal a release date for Singled Out.
