Usher and Keke Palmer have been pretty busy teasing his new single “Boyfriend” on social media, and its music video is worth the hype! Palmer plays the lead role in the cheeky visual set in Las Vegas, which shows her transforming into Usher and performing by his side.
Palmer recently attended Usher’s My Way residency in Las Vegas, and this city serves as a setting for his latest music video. After getting ready for a girl’s night out and singing along to Usher’s hit “U Remind Me” in an elevator, Palmer can be seen joining forces with the R&B superstar and dancing on the casino floor by his side, while wearing the same outfit.
Palmer admired Usher for as long as she can remember, and she even auditioned for his film In the Mix when she was 12. She didn’t win the role back in the day, but she got to live her dream of being in Usher’s music video almost two decades later.
“You have been killing it all my life. As a true lover of the arts, your talent and craftsmanship are a rare combination that I aspire to achieve as a performer.
