Victoria Justice hosted The Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards 2020, which was done virtually this year. Don’t worry, the green slime was still present at the event.
The show made a $1 Million donation to No Kids Hungry, a campaign that aims to end childhood hunger in America and supports those affected by the coronavirus pandemic.
Even though the show was done remotely, Dwayne Johnson, Ariana Grande, Billie Eilish, Kristen Bell, Josh Gad, Camila Cabello, JoJo Siwa, David Dobrik, Millie Bobby Brown, Ellen DeGeneres, BTS, Shawn Mendes, Lil Nas X, Dove Cameron, Tom Kenny, Bill Fagerbakke, SSSniperWolf, cast members of Stranger Things, and the cast of Henry Danger made appearances.
Other highlights of the night included Lebron James receiving then Nickelodeon’s 2020 Generation Change Award for his work in creating change through education and a special appearance from the cast of Avengers: Endgame.
The big winners of the night were Avengers: End Game, which won an award for Favorite Movie, Stranger Things, which won the award for Favorite Family Show, Henry Danger, which won the award for Favorite Kids TV Show, and Dwayne Johnson who won an award for Favorite Movie Actor. In regards to music, Ariana Grande won the Favorite Female Artist award and Shawn Mendes won the Favorite Male Artist award.
