Quibi has released the first teaser for The Fugitive reboot series, which will star Kiefer Sutherland and Boyd Holbrook.
The series is based on the 1993 Harrison Ford film, which was in turn based on the 1960s TV series by the same name.
The Fugitive will follow Mike Fero (Holbrook) who, after a bomb hits the Los Angelos subway train he’s riding with his wife and 10-year-old daughter, attempts to look out for his family’s safety only to find out he’s the main suspect of the investigation. He must prove his innocence and find the culprit before Detective Clay Bryce (Sutherland) gets to him.
In the teaser, Detective Bryce declares that Ferro is “the one and only suspect” who “is to be shot on site.”
Scorpion’s creator Nick Santora, Thunder Road Films’ Basil Iwanyk, 3 Arts’ Tom Lassally, and Albert Torres are executive producing. Stephen Hopkins is directing and executive producing.
