CBS’ Studios’ adaptation of James Comey’s book A Higher Loyalty has found its Barack Obama.
Adapting the book for the small screen is director Billy Ray.
Kingsley Ben-Adir has been cast as the former president in the television adaptation of the novel from the former FBI director. He will star opposite previously cast Jeff Daniels who will play the former FBI director and Brendan Gleeson set to play President Donald Trump.
Holly Hunter (Acting Attorney General Sally Yates), Michael Kelly (Acting FBI Director Andrew McCabe), Jennifer Ehle (Patrice Comey), Peter Coyote (Robert Mueller), Steven Pasquale (Peter Strzok), and Oona Chaplin (Lisa Page) also star in the limited series.
Ray said of the casting, “I feel humbled by the wealth of talent in this cast. And I’m touched that so many great actors want to be a part of this story.”
Ben-Adir’s credits include The OA and Peaky Blinders.
