Many amazing movies are coming out of the Cannes Market these days, and Flesh of the Gods is definitely one of them. Acclaimed director Panos Cosmatos is getting ready to sink his teeth into a vampire thriller Flesh of the Gods, led by Kristen Stewart and Oscar Isaac.

Stewart and Isaac will play a wealthy couple Raoul and Alex, who are seduced into a glamorous, surrealistic world of hedonism, thrills, and violence in the ’80s Los Angeles after meeting the mysterious and enigmatic Nameless and her hard-partying cabal.

Oscar winner Adam McKay is coming on board as one of the producers, and he described this project as wildly commercial and wildly artful.

“This director, this writer, these incredible actors, vampires, choice 80’s punk, style and attitude for miles… that’s the film we’re bringing you today… Our ambitions are to make a movie that ripples through popular culture, fashion, music, and film,” said McKay in a statement.

Cosmatos (Mandy) is directing this project from a script by Andrew Kevin Walker (Se7en), based on a story they wrote together. In addition to McKay, the list of producers also includes Betsy Koch, Gena Konstantinakos, and Isaac via Mad Gene Media.

Stewart is fresh off starring in Love Lies Bleeding, and Flesh of the Gods will mark her return to the vampire genre that put her on the map. Isaac most recently appeared in the Disney+ series Moon Knight, and will next be seen in Guillermo del Toro’s Frankenstein.
