Lady Gaga Gets Tattooed in Tribute to “A Star Is Born”

Bradley Cooper and Lady Gaga in "A Star Is Born"

Whether or not Lady Gaga becomes an Oscar winner next week, it is safe to say that A Star Is Born is her most iconic venture to date.

The film, directed by and starring Bradley Cooper, marked Gaga’s film debut and earned her numerous acting nominations including an Oscar, Golden Globe, and SAG.

The role also had a profound impact on the Born This Way singer who has now gotten something permanent to mark the experience.

Adding to her tattoo collection, the 32-year-old got a new design in the shape of a rose along her back.
The flower is surrounded by the phrase “La vie en rose.”

The wording is a reference to the Edith Piaf song which Gaga’s character in A Star Is Born, Aly, is performing when she first meets Bradley’s country musician.

“Happy Valentine’s Day. A tattoo toast to “la vie en rose,” she wrote. “My spinal cord is now a rose.”

Keep blooming, Gaga!
