It ain’t Lizzo’s fault that she’s out here nailing Elle’s Game of Song Association.
The game involves the team at Elle saying a word and our fierce songstress then having to sing a song that features it.
The “Truth Hurts” singer brought out the big guns as she belted out “The Way You Make Me Feel” by Janelle Monáe (complete with the bass), “Can You Feel the Love Tonight” from The Lion King, and Queen’s “You’re My Best Friend.”
The ultimate performance, however, had to be “Wannabe” from the Spice Girls of which Lizzo knew every word and became Mel B’s twin.
“Yes, I’m killing it! Oh my f-Ing God, “Wannabe” by the Spice Girls and we’re in London,” she exclaimed.
While singing the titular track from “Dreamgirls,” the Billboard Hot 100 topper began to choke when reaching the high notes, but took it in her stride by stating that she had grease in her throat from eating chicken earlier.
“Am I the first person to ever win this? Because I’m winking right now!”
