Get ready to ring in the New Year with a bunch of fresh faces.
Multiple outlets confirmed that Lucy Hale has officially joined Ryan Seacrest as host of Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve.
The duo will serve as the Times Square-based hosts for the show’s 2020 edition, a gig Seacrest has done for the past 15 years, while Hale previously hosted the New Orleans portion of the show.
“As we ring in a new decade and my 15th year hosting the show, I’m so excited to welcome the talented Lucy Hale to the stage with me,” Seacrest said Tuesday in a statement. “It’s going to be a powerhouse year with Billy and Ciara and we can’t wait to celebrate with everyone!”
In more Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve news, we’ve also learned that Billy Porter will host for the first time from the New Orleans-based festivities, while Ciara will return to host the Los Angeles festivities for the third year.
Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve 2020 begins December 31 at 8 p.m. on ABC.
