Mandy Moore had a Walk (of Fame) to Remember.

After 21 years in the industry as both an actress and a musician, the This Is Us has finally earned her dues according to the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce.

On a bright Los Angeles day, the 34-year-old was joined by her husband Taylor Goldsmith as she received her own star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

“It takes just one person to see a spark in you, to see you in a way that you may not see yourself, to give you permission to go beyond what the world may or may not expect of you and completely change the path of your life and career,” she said whilst accepting her honour.

Mandy also paid credit to her first role, A Walk to Remember, and her co-star Shane West who surprised her at the ceremony.

“Mandy, you are an absolute gem. Your smile is ridiculous, seriously it’s ridiculous, it lights up a room when you walk in. Your energy is irresistible and your heart is second to none,” he said. “I always knew you were incredibly talented and I always knew you would go on to do big things, and amazing things and you have.”

Dan Fogelman, who created This Is Us, as well as the other cast members, were also present to exalt the the show’s matriarch.

They all have more than a little faith in her.
