If we had to pick a single person to host a Christmas special this year, it would be Mariah Carey—and she’s granting our wish this holiday season. The new trailer for Mariah Carey’s Magical Christmas Special is here and it’s one star-studded affair.
The one-minute teaser unfolds to the beat of Carey’s timeless holiday tune “All I Want for Christmas Is You”. In addition to the singer herself, we get to see several more stars set to make an appearance in this Christmas special, including Ariana Grande, Jennifer Hudson, Snoop Dogg, Tiffany Haddish, and Billy Eichner.
According to the official synopsis by Apple TV+, Mariah Carey’s Magical Christmas Special will feature a combination of “musical performances, dynamic dancing, and groundbreaking animation” and it will show Carey’s help Santa save Christmas in the midst of “holiday cheer crisis.”
Mariah Carey’s Magical Christmas Special will premiere on December 4th, and it will be accompanied by a holiday-themed soundtrack. One of the songs to be featured on this album is the new version of “Oh Santa!”, featuring Ariana Grande and Jennifer Hudson, which will be accompanied by a festive music video.
