Spoiler alert: Many Avengers died in Avengers: Infinity War, but Okoye was not one of them.

The character played by Danai Gurira is a big deal in Wakanda and is scheduled to appear in Avengers: Endgame. Especially since she’s in the trailer.

But, it appears, that Danai’s single-second appearance of bad-assery, may have skipped Marvel’s mind when it came to the film’s poster.

Despite being present in the movie’s poster amidst Robert Downey Jr., Chris Hemsworth, Scarlett Johansson, Chris Evans, Mark Ruffalo, and Brie Larson, Marvel forgot to put her name at the top!

Fans of the series took to Twitter to voice their disapproval over Danai’s absence, especially as she is one of the few Marvel characters of colour.

The franchise corrected the error a few hours later by releasing a new poster with “Danai Gurira” slotted between Karen Gillan and Bradley Cooper.

“She should have been up there the whole time,” Marvel wrote on its Twitter account.

Let’s hope Okoye spares them her wrath.
