The trademark of the Kingsman series, which is about a secret agent fraternity, has been the relationship between Harry, played by Colin Firth, and Eggsy, portrayed by Taron Egerton. The pair have starred in both Kingsman: The Secret Service and Kingsman: The Golden Circle.

The director Matthew Vaughn is working on a prequel film entitled Kingsman: The Great Game, which will star a bunch of new characters including Liam Nesson.

Vaughn told fans that they have not seen the last of Firth and Egerton together. Fear not, Kingsman fans, you will get your conclusion.

“We’ve got to finish off the Eggsy and Harry relationship,” Vaughn told Digital Spy. “The final chapter of their relationship needs to be told, which we’ve got ready to do, and I’m hoping to shoot that later this year or the beginning of next year. As Taron was saying, he’s looking forward to becoming Eggsy again, because emotionally it’s a lot less draining.”

While we can (hopefully) expect that film sometime in 2021, Kingsman: The Great Game comes out February 14th, 2020.
