Megan Thee Stallion’s Hot Girl Summer Tour is in full swing, and she made her recent stop in Atlanta extra special. The Grammy-winning rapper officially announced her next album will be titled MEGAN and revealed it will hit the shelves this month.

Stallion teased the release of her third studio album with several singles in recent months, but she kept us waiting for the official album announcement. She finally shared the amazing news during a Hot Girl Summer Tour concert in Atlanta, where she revealed her self-titled album will be released on June 28.

She used snakes as the motif in a lot of promo materials for this album, even naming several singles after them, and she opted for this theme due to the symbolism surrounding them.

“We don’t just stop at the snake This is just what everybody sees right now. Renewal, rebirth: that is the whole concept of this [album. We started with the snake because, first of all, I love snakes, but I feel like snakes are so misunderstood, especially in Western culture,” she explained in a recent L’Officiel cover story.

“Cobra” was released as the first single from MEGAN, followed by the chart-topping “Hiss” and the rapper’s most recent single “Boa”.
