It may be 5 months since Prince Harry and Meghan Markle walked down the aisle, but the royal wedding will forever linger in our hearts and the Duchess of Sussex has now revealed a tidbit of information which has made us swoon all over again!
As the old adage goes, brides wear something old, something new, something borrowed, and something blue on their wedding day.
In a documentary about Queen Elizabeth II entitled Queen of the World, Meghan shared that the “something blue” was a memento from the first date she went on with her prince.
“Somewhere in here, there’s a piece of, did you see it? The piece of blue fabric that’s stitched inside. It was my something blue,” the 37-year-old said about her veil. “It’s fabric from the dress that I wore on our first date.”
