It looks as though the last song has been sung for Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth.
The pair, who are still considered to be in their newlywed period, have announced their separation.
“Liam and Miley have agreed to separate at this time,” said a representative for the Mother’s Daughter singer in a statement. “Ever-evolving, changing as partners and individuals, they have decided this is what’s best while they both focus on themselves and careers. They still remain dedicated parents to all of their animals they share while lovingly taking this time apart. Please respect their process and privacy.”
Miley and Liam surprised fans by getting married in a private intimate ceremony at their Tennessee home last December.
The nuptials came 10 years after the couple first met whilst filming the adaptation of Nicholas Sparks’ book, The Last Song.
During the decade-long relationship, the singer and the Hunger Games actor broke up once, but also withstood their Malibu house burning down during the California wildfires.
